Stratos Image Overlay

Hello, I am using Stratos quickstart. I am having trouble changing the pink/purple overlay on the homepage header background image. I seem to be able to change everything else using SP Page Builder but when I access the overlay controls for that image I cant change that color. Is it controlled elsewhere?

Thanks

Matt

But if somehow you will not be able to do that from settings, Override bg colors using Custom CSS. This is default style for first main section on homepage.

.hero-section .sppb-row-overlay {
  background: linear-gradient(171.51deg, #0e0023 -2.17%, rgba(14, 0, 35, 0.61) 55.3%, rgba(14, 0, 35, 0.67) 89.25%, rgba(14, 0, 35, 0) 161.74%);
}

Just use online CSS gradient generator and use your own value.

Thanks for the reply Mehtaz,

Changing this overlay color was the first thing I tried to modify after uploading the quickstart. Im trying to get a feel for the template before moving forward with it. So, changing that coloring requires custom CSS? or should I be able to change it via the page builder?

Thanks

Matt

Hello Matt,

Thank you for reaching out to our technical support forum. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing. Yes, you can change it from SP Page Builder settings. No Custom CSS is required for it. Go to the Home - Default page and on the first section settings, you will find an overlay option. You can change the options as you like or set it to None if you do not want it.
