I enable Joomla error reporting.

i see a lot of errors like:

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureContact::$position is deprecated in .... /templates/et_electrical/features/contact.php on line 36

Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property HelixUltimateFeatureContact::$load_pos is deprecated in .... /templates/et_electrical/features/contact.php on line 37

i have test now 3 steps:

  1. Clear your browser cache and try again.
  2. Try open site and saving in a different browser
  3. Enable Joomla error reporting (Global Configuration > Server > Error Reporting = Maximum) and check if a more specific message appears.

Can you look at this issue?

Hello,

It appears you are using a third-party template. I recommend reaching out to the template developer directly, as they may be better equipped to assist you with this issue.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

Hello Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The error message Error: undefined when clicking Save in Helix Ultimate (v2.1.2) is often related to either:

  1. JavaScript conflicts (possibly from recent Joomla/plugin updates),
  2. Browser caching issues, or
  3. A misconfigured server response (such as a 500 error in the background).

Here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Clear your browser cache and try again.
  2. Check the browser console (F12 → Console tab) for more detailed error messages.
  3. Try open site and saving in a different browser or in an incognito window.
  4. Enable Joomla error reporting (Global Configuration > Server > Error Reporting = Maximum) and check if a more specific message appears.

Let me know if the issue persists after these steps, and I’ll help you dig deeper.

Best Regards

Can be also caused by:

  • Firewall settings (server)
  • Mod_Security settings
  • extra rules inside .htaccess added by Akeeba Tools Pro

Or Joomla today has a bad mood ;]
