Countdown When Offline

Hello.

I can't preview my website when in offline mode. It doesn't give me the fields to login on the front end, just the "Coming Soon" and timer at zero. I can login into my admin area and edit without issues.

This is what I get when trying to preview a page after editing in SP Builder (see attached)

"You don't have permission to access this. Please contact a website administrator if this is incorrect."

Nothing works anymore after turning off my system last night.

Update. Switching to Cassiopeia template resolves the issue....

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

From my end, I didn’t notice any permission-related issues. Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

Thanks,

You are incorrect. Nothing is fixed.

The problem is I don't want that count down. I can't preview my Sp Builder changes in offline mode. I have to switch the website to online mode, which I don't normally do while working on a website.

I want no countdown and login fields add back in as I've had for my other templates.

I've sent you the login info yesterday.

  1. Go to SP Builder
  2. Pick any page to edit, pick "Frontend Editor" and you'll see I can't edit anything.

Also, Try to edit the Arino template style, you can't. Just shows the countdown screen.

Please fix this. I burned a whole day trying to find the issue and it points to this template. Never had this issue with any other Quickstart template.

The Cassiopeia template does not exhibit this issue.

PS, I just saw another post with the same Login Form issue on another template

Thank you

Due to the length of time it's taken to leave this unresolved, I've found a work around by removing the offline.php file from the Arino template folder. Now the website works in offline mode. You need to fix these issues with the older templates. Something is broken. I shouldn't have to experiment for a total of 18 hours to get this to work.
