Is It Possible To Set A Dynamic Content Image As A Background-image?

What I am trying to accomplish is to have a dynamic background image for the hero section on my dynamic content details page.
The image would be aligned with the record's theme, for example an event, or brand event.
The ability to do this would open up many interesting style options and capabilities in SPPB.
