Hello Rashida,
I’ve successfully built popups using Popup Builder and the trigger On Click → Specific element (CSS selector). It works, but it’s quite tedious and fragile when there are many sections.
Binding an existing Popup to a Button
In the Button addon I see link types: URL / Menu / Page / Popup. However, the Popup dropdown is always empty on pages where a Popup is present (Published and visible on that page).
How is this list populated?
Could you allow selecting an existing Popup by ID/slug, or auto-detect Popups present on the page and list them?
This would remove the need for CSS selectors and make the workflow much faster.
Regular Labs Tooltips ({tip}...{/tip}) render as raw tags inside Popup content (SPPB Text/Raw HTML), which suggests content plugins aren’t processed there. Is there a supported way to Prepare/Process Joomla content plugins for Popup bodies, or an official workaround (e.g., via Joomla Module addon with “Prepare Content”)?
It would be great to have a built-in switch like “Process Joomla content plugins” for Popups. Is this on your roadmap?
For a live example please check this page: https://nasadovky.cz/australka#historie
Open the section “Původ a počátky šlechtění v Austrálii” and click the button to show the Popup. Inside you will see the tooltip code from Regular Labs rendered as raw {tip}...{/tip} tags instead of a working tooltip. It looks like the content plugin is not executed inside the Popup, so the original HTML tags are displayed literally.
Thanks a lot for any guidance or fix!
Best regards,
Martin
