Hi, I think it's a bug in articles addon... I using custom fields for expample: date - {field 1} time - {field 2} location - {field 3} Articles addon added in Sp Page Builder page, in full article text custom fields are displayed properly, but when I put it in introtext custom fields values have values from first article!!! And why I can't change style of custom fields like typography, font color, paddings and margins like in Author, Tags, Category? Please reproduce this in your testing site with Helix Ultimate.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. If you use the Intro Text function of the Article addon, you don’t need to manually insert a "Read More" tag in the article content — it will be added automatically.

No need if you use above introtext feature

Toufiq - did you read my question carefully? I wrote about custom fields in introtext... Note using option SHOW INTROTEXT. This option is switched ON.

Again I explain you: I have article with introtext where are 3 custom fields:date - {field 1} time - {field 2} location - {field 3} Next of course is READ MORE In full article there are again this custom fields and have values: date - {field 1} 20-10-2025 time - {field 2} 18:00 location - {field 3} Warsaw, Main street 35 In full text everything is OK but in introtext I have values from other article, for example: date - {field 1} 10-09-2025 time - {field 2} 15:00 location - {field 3} Gdansk, Not main street 5

If you load content before readmore then it will display the content both side (Listing and details page)

Tofuiq, when I load content in Introtext and details in both should display the same values, but it didn't... In details all is OK but in Introtext I have values from other article.

I put the same in Introtext and details:

Data wydarzenia: {field 1} Godzina: {field 3} Lokalizacja: {field 4}

Please check in your test site

Let me explain how it works:

  1. I created an article without adding the “Read More” function inside it.
  2. Then, I loaded an Article Addon and enabled the Intro Text feature.
  • The Intro Text feature displays a predefined 200-character summary as the intro text (you can adjust this limit).

Normal Joomla Article:

  1. Create a Joomla article and add the Read More function.
  2. The intro text will be displayed, and it will also appear within the full article view.

Now, if you’re expecting a different behavior, I’m afraid that isn’t possible — the function you’re looking for isn’t currently available.

Toufiq, I don't have problems with displaying introtext... Problem is different values of custom fileds!!!

In introtext and full text are totally DIFFERENT In introtext values are from other article, but in full text are correct. It must be bug in article addon.

And now try put other values of custom fields to second article and see what will be displayed in first article :)
