How To Disable Sub Menu Opening

Hi,

When I click directly on this link on main menu https://prnt.sc/UcK9zqnD84lw then sub menu is opened quickly and disappears because there is a link on the menu.

But when I click on this menu item https://prnt.sc/UcK9zqnD84lw , How can I prevent the submenu from being displayed/opened when clicked?

See live url in Hidden Content area.

Thanks L.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

The template you are using is from JoomShaper, but it has been heavily customized, including the use of a custom header. Since this falls under custom development, it is unfortunately outside the scope of our standard support policy.

However, I can share a workaround to help you achieve what you want: You can handle this with a small custom JavaScript snippet. The idea is to prevent the submenu from opening when the parent item contains an actual link (anything other than #). This way, the submenu will open only when the submenu toggler is clicked, not when the main linked item is clicked.

You may add a script that checks whether the main menu item has a real URL and, if so, disables the automatic submenu opening.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.
