Hi, onthe the wbsite the responsive menu isn't visible. How to fix that?

On this website I have 3 similar templates. one for each logo you see above.

Thanks a lot for your help, Lele

@Lele in your case, problem is with Template style CSS. Please use those lines:

@media screen and (max-width: 990px) {
.helix-ultimate #sp-header nav.sp-megamenu-wrapper #offcanvas-toggler,
#sp-header a#offcanvas-toggler:not(.offcanvas-toggler-secondary)
{display: block !important;}
}

It will return responsive/offcanvas menu [=] icon on Mobile/Tablet view in current installed template.

Use it as first line in Custom CSS field or custom.css file if you're using it. Clean Cache deeply!

Hello. I would like to add that the latest update of helix ultimate leads to the disapearing of the off-canvas menu. No solution in the FAQ works. Later my custom.css was not read at all, even I cleared every cache I found.

I had to roll back the site to a prior version of helix ultimate.

If you would like to test your updates, I give you the credentials for the testing site (Joomla 5.4.1, php 8.2, helix ultimate 2.2.1, SPPB 6.1.2).

What a mess. Have a nice week

Remove this css code from the theme.scss file, path /templates/shaper_helixultimate/scss/

 // Hide any legacy/default Helix togglers
  a#offcanvas-toggler:not(.offcanvas-toggler-secondary) {
    display: none !important;
  }

find line 252.

changed file (Unzip file > File Manager > Replace current file)

themeUnzip_Me.zip

The helixultimate_template_v2.2.2 (1).zip version fixed the issue for me but I also had to add the CSS code to my custom CSS to hide the legacy toggler otherwise I had 2 hamburger menus.

Hi Paul, to me not. The responsive menu doesn't appear. I have Joomla 6.0.1 with your template helixultimate_template_v2.2.2 (1).

Just inform you each logo above you see has his own template, can be that?

Hello, I've already encountered this problem on two client websites. After the helix_ultimate update from 2.1.2 to version 2.2.2, the offcanvas toggler disappears in the mobile display. This is not a CSS problem. The ID "offcanvas-toggler" is completely missing from the source code. I switched the websites back to version 2.1.3. because I can't leave it like this.

exactly.

As I already said to joomshaper team on another ticket : this is not a css problem that has to be corrected from our side, this is a bug that has to be solved on helix package.

Both v2.2.1 and v2.2.2 had problems with disappearing hamburger menus.

I fixed the issue on v2.2.1 websites by ensuring that the #sp-menu module position was included under #sp-header.

From completing about twenty-five v2.2.1 to v2.2.2 upgrades (and having to do quite a few restores in the meantime), the issue with the disappearing hamburger menu on v2.2.2 only seems to occur on websites not using one of the Helix Ultimate pre-defined headers.

Fixing the issue with v2.2.2 will require:

  • changing to a pre-defined header, or
  • upating using the helixultimate_template_v2.2.2 (1).zip file from the LimeWire link Paul provided in this thread together with the custom CSS to hide the legacy Helix Ultimate toggler, or
  • waiting for the next official release, or
  • going back to v2.1.3 in the meantime

If somebody needs Helix Template v2.1.3 here it's >> https://limewire.com/d/r3KKU#w3476JuSOp

If you need Helix Ultimate v2.2.2 with small CSS fix >> https://limewire.com/d/rJR7A#Xh9ISlzuuI

In both cases remember to clear Joomla cache first, then clear Browser cache or use 2nd browser to check front-end on Responsive mode.

Well Paul, I can see that there is indeed a problem.

So it would have been more constructive to provide me with the requested files directly rather than commenting on the fact that I am careless not to keep a copy of all your versions in the archives....

A word to the wise...
