Thanks. feature would be adding post codes (zip codes) to shipping by region variables. Currently for example, I can choose Australia, then I can choose by state(s). States are very big and freight varies significantly out of the main metro city.

Sydney may have 100 postcodes. Other software shipping modules would allow us to create shipping zones by post codes and post code ranges. eg 2000 - 2100.

Being able to add shiping by category would also be great.

This adds extra flexibility and makes your extension more widely applicable to a greater customer base, exposing you to a larger market for your product "easystore". Which combined with SPPAGEBUILDER could be awesome, but it needs the extra features.

In the end, really, the way you have it now, anyone using it is just competing with amazon, for small parcels etc. This is pretty much dead end really isn't it. Hopefully you haven't already burned that market though by not address the market need.

At the moment, EasyStore supports shipping configuration by country and state, but it does not include postcode-based zones or postcode-range logic. We also do not yet have shipping rules based on specific product categories. I agree that both capabilities would offer far more granular control, especially for regions like Australia where freight costs differ heavily between metro and regional postcodes.
