Overlapping SPPB Blocks

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue on my website (Joomla 5). Some blocks (sections) overlap in the mobile version ONLY, making the content unreadable.

I am attaching screenshots to illustrate the problem.

Could you advise me on the best way to fix this overlapping without having to rebuild everything? I have other pages affected by the same issue.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I didn’t have time to wait for your reply, so I took the necessary steps to fix the issue myself. That’s why everything displays correctly now when viewing the page.

However, you might want to share my screenshots with your colleagues to help fix this issue in SPPB; it’s the second time I’ve encountered it 😅

I created 8+4 columns with the percentage values set to 72% and 28%. This worked perfectly on the Desktop version but not on Mobile. I then recreated a Section block, also in an 8+4 layout without changing the default values. This solved the issue.

However, I don’t understand why the option to modify the percentage values is available if it doesn’t work correctly on mobile, especially since the mobile values remained at 100% in all cases.

Could you please clarify this point?

Thank you very much in advance!

I understand your confusion. In general design sense, mobile sections are set 100% of the width. However, this is the default state which you can always change. You have to adjust the layout for every screen you want to customize it. I have showed you an easy process to achieve your requirements. Please check the below screencast:
