If you ask about SEO & Web Accessibility main principles:

1. Place the H1 at the top of the page content, and Use H2-H6 to build structure under the H1
2. Only one H1 should be used.
3. Make the H1 match the core topic of the page.
4. Avoid duplicates of H1 content across multiple pages. Each should be different, at least one word etc.

Don't make H1 too huge (font-size), if you do, resize for Mobile view using settings. Otherwise, people will see single big vertical letters. UX tip.
