Upgrade Of Helix Ultimate Template Vs Plugin

Can you clarify, when we upgrade from "shaper_helixultimate" 2.2.2 to shaper_helixultimate 2.2.3 (I am assuming this is the template), it also updates "System - Helix Ultimate Framework" from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3.
It confuses my end user that performing on update, also performs the other?

Thank you for reaching out to our technical support forum.
Template update will also update the plugin. If you are using Helix Ultimate template, then updating the template will update the plugin too. But if you are using a template made with Helix Ultimate, then you have to update the plugin only.
