Dynamic Filter - Page Reload

Hello, I would like to ask about using the Dynamic Content filter in SP Page Builder.

When filtering content on the frontend, the page always performs a full page reload. This becomes a significant issue when the filters are not located at the top of the page but somewhere in the middle. After changing a filter, the page reloads and the user is redirected to a different position on the page (usually the top), which negatively affects the user experience.

Is there any way to:

  • prevent a full page reload (e.g. use AJAX-based filtering), or
  • at least preserve the user’s scroll position after changing the filter?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out, and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience as well as the delayed response over the weekend.

At this time, SP Page Builder’s Dynamic Content filtering on the frontend is designed to trigger a full page reload, and unfortunately there is currently no built-in option to prevent this behavior, enable AJAX-based filtering, or preserve the user’s scroll position after applying a filter.

That said, we understand how this impacts the user experience—especially when filters are placed mid-page—and we agree that this is a valid concern. We have shared your feedback and use case with our development team so they can evaluate possible improvements and consider enhancements in a future version of SP Page Builder.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions or if there is anything else we can assist you with in the meantime.

Kind regard

Thank you, I hope this gets foxed soon because it's blocking me using the filtering feature.
