Multi-domain Website

I want to create a multi-domain website. In all your templates, if I put another domain in the template - when the logo is clicked, it loads nicely, for example www.domain.com/this-page like www.newdomain.com. However, when a menu item is clicked, it is not www.newdomain.com/about but www.domain.com/about

I thought I would solve this by choosing the starting level 2 in the menu module, so that all menu pages would be under the new domain if I put all menu items like child items of home item for that menu. But I see that when I set the menu module to start from level 2, your templates do not support this, but load the menu from level 1.

Can you enable the menu to load starting from level 2 in the templates, as the menu-module allows?

Hello Jasna,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

If you want the sub-menu items (Level 2) to point to another domain, you should use System Links -> URL instead of selecting regular Joomla pages.

Regular page links will always stay on the current site, so using a System Links -> URL ensures the menu item goes to the correct domain.

Best regards,
