SP Page Builder 1 day ago

Hi

I am in the process of migrating my old website to JoomShaper. I’m using Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder Pro. I have created the homepage in SP Page Builder, and it is called from the “Home” menu. Everything works fine so far.

On my current site, I have divided the layout into three columns with the sizes 6+3+3. News articles are displayed in the wide column on the left.

When a user clicks on a news article, it opens in a larger window — and this is where my problem begins. I want column 3 to be shown together with the article, while column 2 should simply disappear.

I’ve tried all sorts of things but can’t find the right solution.

I’ve attached two images: one showing the standard view with three columns, and the other showing the two-column layout when a news article is open.

I hope you can give me a hint.

The site can be viewed at www.sdf.dk It's still running on the old version

Hello Selskabet,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

This is expected behavior. As you mentioned, the layout is applied only to the Blog page, not to the Blog details page, and there is currently no option to apply it there. The current right sidebar on the blog details page comes from your site modules.

You can refer to the following documentation to design the blog details page based on your requirements: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/create-a-dynamic-article-details-page

Please let me know if this helps or need more assistance.

Thanks
