Hello, I am using a carousel pro add on for my hero section on my website. Im noticing when you move your cursor over the section, the animation pauses...Im not seeing a setting in the add on to toggle that on/off..is this possible to turn off in the core JS or CSS?

Ive included the URL and login in the private section

Hello Mike,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please check if you have the same override of this addon in this locations: JRoot/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/sppagebuilder/addons/carouselpro

Then, follow the steps mentioned in the post.

Thanks.

Hello

There is no directory on my install that matches the location you provided. I am seeing the file in /components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/carouselpro

Hello

Actually, my issue is the exact same issue in post 10489, I just need to make sure I am using the proper file, since my install version is much newer.

You can review my first post for all relevant details, but let me clarify again..in the hero section (YOUR DREAM HOME IS OUR FORTE) the background scrolls through multiple images in autoplay, but the scrolling stops once the mouse hovers over the area...as referenced in post 10489, there was a fix where a php file was uploaded into the Joomla install to fix it.

Perhaps tag/copy Ofi Khan onto this thread, since he's the one that handled post 10489...hope we can move forward with a solution from here.

I see the issues.

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,

There is an issue, and I have already informed our development team to add a pause-on-hover option in carousel pro addon. We hope this feature will be added soon.

Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that this question was posted about four years ago. At that time, the Carousel Pro functionality was different from what it is now.

Please ignore this post, as it is no longer applicable with the current addon.

I appreciate your patience and look forward to the upcoming release.

Thanks
