SPPB Layout With Cassiopeia

SP Page Builder 5 hours ago

Hi,

When I use helix + SPPB, I can have this layout => https://prnt.sc/xVRk8TAC4qpi As you can see image above, section with red rectangle is full width and below, container has blank space on left and right side.

But when I use SPPB + cassiopeia, I get this => https://prnt.sc/II9qpB87qHaJ As you can see image above, section on top is not in full width, even If I set this setting => https://prnt.sc/nTdkN1TqIp-Q

So with SPPB + cassiopeia, how can I get this layout => https://prnt.sc/xVRk8TAC4qpi ?

As mentioned earlier, this behavior is coming from the template and not from SP Page Builder itself. The fluid and spacing logic is handled by the Cassiopeia layout, which can introduce horizontal overflow when certain elements are set to full width.

For this reason, this specific adjustment will require template-side tweaks. We recommend checking for solutions or workarounds in the official Joomla forum or Cassiopeia-related documentation, as the template belongs to Joomla core and is outside our support scope.

Thank you for your message and sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.

The behavior you are seeing is due to the template. When using SP Page Builder, the page is rendered inside the site template layout, and the overall container behavior (boxed vs. fluid) is controlled by the template rather than SP Page Builder itself. This is why it works differently with Helix compared to Cassiopeia.

To adjust this in Cassiopeia, please enable the "Layout Fluid" option in the template settings. For reference, here is the location: https://files.fm/u/tkz9h5u2w2. Enabling this generally allows full-width sections similar to what you get in Helix.

If the result still does not match your requirements, you may need further customization on the Cassiopeia side, as it is a Joomla core template and not developed or maintained by us. In that case, we recommend checking or requesting additional suggestions in the official Joomla forum, as Cassiopeia behavior falls outside our support scope.

ok works fine.

but now, If I set a section to fuild, from SPPB, then I get this small blank space + horizontal scroll bar here on front-end -> https://prnt.sc/rScnqkxJVLKj

Any idea why?
