If you Save as Copy the Dynamic Content item, then the alias will be like this:

You have to manually fix the alias after duplicating the item.

Hello Ofi Khan, no, here is the problem! I click save and it changes automatically the alias. For wxample in Trattamenti, if you open cure-canalari-devitalizzazioni, click save in and open it again you'll find cure-canalari-devitalizzazioni-2.

I have found no issues with the alias edit and save option.

I did it. I feel more confortable if you can download the latest zip from the admin site instead of attach the zip in the chat. Thanks a lot

I had a discussion with the developer team. The alias must be unique. There might be any same alias name exists for your articles, tags or any other pages. This is why it is not taking the alias name and adding a number at the end. It is also applicable if you have any same alias items in the trash or unpublished state. Please use a different alias.

The only ones with the same alias are the URLs in the menu. Could that be the problem? Can you take a look? Are you planning to add a menu item that links directly to the individual element in the dynamic collection?

No, we do not have that plan to add single item on menu. Okay, I will take the backup and investigate further.

I have installed the backup on my localhost and searched for this alias. It already exists. So, when I save & copy, the new item alias is saved as alias-2. Then I renamed it back to alias-test. Could you please share another item alias to check the issue?

Ofi the problem is that i didn't click on save and copy, i clicked to save. every time i try to save a a dynakic item as "alias" and i take any change to this one it automatically rename it as "alias-2". I paid a person to manage the SEO of this site and i will lose my money if i change all those alias. How can i check if the alias is used? i don't find original alias in the dynamic content listing

Unfortunately, no. I have to fix the aliases every time using SQL UPDATE, but that's not a solution. This means the client has to notify me every time he makes changes to the site. After SQL UPDATE it works as expected and shows the correct page, so i don't think that there's an alias conflict
