Helix Ultimate follows Joomla’s core ACL system. Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to apply different access levels to the intro text and the full article content separately.

I hope this clarifies the limitation.

From Template settings you cannot do that, templates in Joomla weren't developed for that purpose. You need extra compoment for Content Restriction, sort of membership/subscription extension. And they are almost all paid versions.

When I install a new Joomla installation, ver 6.0.2 and enable “Unauthorised Links” in the Home menu, then it works as expected — you have to log in to read the rest of the article.

I have a test site with only the Joomla core installation, where you can see this behaviour. The address is leifelsborg.dk

It seems that Helix Ultimate overrides this function.

Ok, in that case make a simple test - please rename that folder (for 90sec)

templates\helix_ultimate\html\com_content

it overrides articles (all views) and check the site again.
