Product List Count For Collections - Refinement Requested

When using a Collection pre-filter for a 'Product List' element in SP Page Builder Pro (e.g. in my case I have collections labeled Ladies and Men), the sidebar filter element shows product counts for all products in the database rather than just those in the pre-filtered grid.
Ideally, counts should reflect the filtered product list.
Can this refinement be added to the new feature list?

OK I have prepared some screen captures to illustrate the issue. I'll let you decide which are most relevant.
Note that the two site modules are much the same, except for the names and selected collections (i.e. Ladies vs Men) and of course the menu items they are assigned to.
I've included screen shots of the two menu items selected. They show that in both cases the brands and tags visible in the filter panel show the same number of products in brackets.
