Hello, when i try to upload a pdf inside the media manager, when editing a page or article, i get this error. It works well with images, Did you make any changes? Thanks

"Please upload only image type files inside folders tab"

Hi Nuno,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

No recent changes were made from our side regarding file uploads.

This error usually happens when Joomla’s media settings are restricting the allowed file types.

Could you please check:

System -> Global Configuration → Media → Legal Extensions (File Types)

Make sure it includes PDF, for example:

jpg,jpeg,png,gif,pdf

Also check:

* Legal MIME Types includes:
    application/pdf

After saving those changes, try uploading the PDF again in SP Page Builder.

Let me know if it still doesn’t work.

No, i meant the configurations you asked to check were already set but the error persists, as you can see in the image 2.

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

This is Joomla problem I am having the smae issue unable to uplaod PDF files. Joomla

error: Not a valid image.

Mime types and setting are correct.

the only wyat to upload PDF IS EITHER ftpor cPanel Joomla 6.1
