Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with the SP Page Builder Form Builder addon on a Joomla website. The problem affects all forms on the website created with SP Page Builder Form Builder. As an example, you can test the contact form here: https://www.umbriafiere.it/contatti-umbriafiere

Problem description: The form submits correctly, but no frontend message is displayed after clicking the “INVIA” button. In the addon configuration, the following messages are correctly configured: Form Submit Success Message: “Email inviata correttamente!” Form Submit Failed Message: “Invio Email fallito, compila tutti i campi e invia di nuovo”

However, after submission:

  • the success message is never displayed,
  • the failed/error message is not displayed either,
  • no visual feedback appears after clicking “INVIA”,
  • the issue affects all forms on the website,
  • other SP Page Builder forms on different websites work correctly.

What I already tested:

  • recreated the Form Builder addon from scratch,
  • duplicated and recreated the page,
  • cleared Joomla and SP Page Builder cache,
  • disabled/re-enabled Captcha,
  • tested with different browsers,
  • checked that email sending works correctly.

Additional observation: Inspecting the frontend output, it seems the configured messages are not rendered correctly in the generated markup. Also, some unexpected encoded content appears inside the form output, suggesting possible corruption or a rendering issue in the addon configuration. I can provide backend administrator access immediately for troubleshooting.

Thank you for reaching out. I tried to find a solution, but unfortunately, I couldn't identify the exact cause of the issue. If you allow me to investigate it on my end, I will first create a full backup of your site for safety. After that, I will download the site and test the issue locally to identify the root cause.

While I’m contacting you, I would also like to report two additional issues:

After the latest update, the News titles changed from H2 to H4 tags, and I have not been able to correct this through CSS. In the “Related Articles” section displayed at the bottom of each news article, the featured image is no longer shown. Could you please explain how this should be configured correctly?

I’m very happy that you decided to test the website in a separate environment. This is an important and delicate website, so I would prefer to avoid any risk of errors with this client.
