The issue you’re encountering is related to the SCSS compiler not processing variables correctly (e.g., $header_bg_color in presets.scss).
To resolve this, please disable the SCSS to CSS compiler from your Helix Ultimate settings:
Go to Template Options → Advanced → Disable “Compile SCSS to CSS”.
After that, kindly clear your site and browser cache, then check again.

Accepted AnswerHappen the same to me suddenly from one day to the other. last change to web was update helix plugin and sp page builder wih security fix but one week ago. In my case was startuplanding template. Any idea about what happend here?

This error usually occurs when a preset color variable is missing or empty. Please check your template preset settings and ensure all color fields have valid values.
As a workaround, you can also disable SCSS compilation:
Template Options → Advanced → Disable "Compile SCSS to CSS"
Then clear your Joomla and browser cache and check the site again.
