Problem After Helix Ultimate Update Undefined Variable. , 33 | Background: $header_bg_color;

After updating my wimble site to Joomla 5.4.5 and helixultimate_template_v2.2.4 i get: Undefined variable. , 33 | background: $header_bg_color; | ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ' presets.scss 33:15 @import - 1:9 root stylesheet I tried downgrading to helixultimate_template_v2.1.3 like it was recommended in a forum post, but this didn't work. please help me

Thanks for your Answer, i had to disable the SCSS to CSS switch in ALL wimble Templates - that worked out!

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

This issue is caused by a missing SCSS variable ($header_bg_color) in the Helix Ultimate preset, which prevents CSS from compiling.

Please go to: Templates → Styles → Your Template → Presets

  • Select a default preset or
  • Set values in Custom Preset (e.g., Header Background Color)

Then click Save — this will regenerate the CSS and fix the issue.
