With the recent urgent PageBuilder update are you able to release a patch for active PageBuilder subscribers that allows sites using 3.x and 5.x to patch the security issue?

Honest advice

On your place I would create a new website on Joomla 6.1 and PHP 8.4 using only new, current extensions. For sure without K2, and all oldies. There are K2>Articles migrators.

Hello Justin,

Thank you for reaching out to our technical support forum.

There is no update required for SP Page Builder 3.x version. The issue appeared on SP Page Builder 4.x+ version. Please update to SP Page Builder 6.2.2 and there will be no issues on 4, 5 and 6 versions.

Best regards

When trying to update from version 5.x to 6.2.2 I get the following error and the site breaks:

Call to undefined method SppagebuilderModelPage::setDispatcher()

I have to re-install the 5x version I have on file so the site loads again.

@Justin

Sorry, but Joomla 3.10 is not supported anymore, and SPPB 6.x will not work there (!) We explained that in SPPB documenation. Let's be serious, You are using old versions on your own risk, including PHP 7.4. Don't get me wrong, but this has been your conscious choice for several years now, regardless of the reasons behind it.

In theory you can use fixed file from SPPB 6.6.2 package on SPPB 5.x (details below)
