Stratos V1.0.3 (Joomla 6) - Theme Not Changing

I haven't done any customization, this is a fresh install using stratos_quickstart_j6_v1.0.3.

The issue is the theme won't change, only some of the text changes color. I'm new to JoomShaper however very experience with Joomla, ex-Rockettheme (15 years). I assume when I change the Theme color "Presets", everything will change in the template to match the new color scheme, not just the menu text, correct? I'm navigating like this: Site Template Styles - Select Stratos (my default) - Template Options - Presets, then I select a different color, only the top menu text changes color?

How do I change the template Style / Color, am I doing something wrong?

I have cleaned the cache both Joomla and browser...all the usual things, see below things that I've checked.

Also I tried as per support I tried: going to Advanced → SCSS to CSS compiler. Disabling it, then Saved it. After that, enabled it again, click Save, and the system should compile and generate the new CSS.

Here are my settings:

Template: Stratos v1.0.3 com_sppagebuilder_pro_v6.6.2 Joomla! 6.1.1 Stable Template Themes: Compile SCSS to CSS is turned ON PHP 8.3.31 memory_limit: 768M post_max_size: 256M upload_max_filesize: 256M MySQL DB version: Database Version: 8.4.6-6 Web Server: Apache Curl enabled OpenSSL allow_url_fopen (set to Yes)

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing.

Based on your description, it appears that the preset changes are not being fully applied. To investigate this further, could you please share your website URL? If the site is not publicly accessible, you may also provide temporary administrator access so we can check the template configuration and identify the cause of the issue.

Once we have access to your site, we'll look into it and get back to you with a solution as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to your response.

Best regards

Thank you for your patience.

Upon checking on our end, the Menu Text Color option is working as expected. Could you please let us know which specific color or section you are trying to change?

It would be very helpful if you could share a screenshot highlighting the affected section so we can investigate the issue further.

I'm trying to change the Theme color, things like the modules highlighted arw magenta, I assume this is possible?

I assumed changing that color would change the template utilizing a new color scheme...sorry, that's been my experience with other Joomla templates, if it doesn't work this way, then how do I change the temple things like this, the home button is magenta, the hover over buttons are magenta...etc. How can I add a PDF or image here from my desktop to show you.

Hi,

Thank you for your detailed explanation. I'd like to clarify how the color presets work in the Stratos template.

The Template Presets only affect the template elements, such as the header, footer, off-canvas menu, and other template-specific sections. They do not affect the content or design elements created with SP Page Builder.

The page content, including sections, rows, columns, buttons, headings, and other design elements, is managed entirely by SP Page Builder. If you would like to change the colors of those elements, you'll need to edit the page in SP Page Builder and update the colors there.

So, the behavior you're seeing is expected. The template preset is working correctly by changing only the template-related elements, while the page content retains the colors configured within SP Page Builder.

Best regards

Hi Atick, Thank you, as I mentioned I'm new too JoomShaper, it will take me some time to learn these new tools. I will work with SP Page Builder to change those elements. Thank you so much for clarifing this for me. How do I change the hoover color on Bullet links and hoover over to a color other than magenta? Regards, John
