Blog Media Upload Image Returns 500 Error After Helix Ultimate 2.2.9 Update

Hi, After updating Helix Ultimate to version 2.2.9 (from 2.2.4), the "Upload Image" button in the Blog Media tab of Joomla articles stopped working. Environment: Joomla 4.4.13 Helix Ultimate 2.2.9 PHP 8.3
Issue: Clicking "+ Upload Image" in the Blog Media tab triggers no UI feedback. In the browser console (F12 > Network) a POST request to administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit returns HTTP 500. No error appears in the Joomla log related to media or upload. What I checked:
GD library: enabled Blog Image Sizes: all fields valorized, no zero values Joomla Media Manager (standard tab): works fine Cache cleared The issue started immediately after the 2.2.9 update
Note: I noticed the 2.2.9 changelog mentions "Fix: Resolved the blog media image deletion issue" — this suggests the blog media functionality was affected in recent releases. Is this a known issue? Any workaround available? Thank you

After investigating the problem, I can confirm that there is an issue with Helix Ultimate on Joomla 4, and it has already been reported to our development team for further investigation.
In the meantime, please install the patch version of the Helix Ultimate plugin, which you will find in the Hidden Content area. This patch should resolve the issue.
