Hi there!

Sorry to hear that.

From fronend editor where you wants to upload images for, please?

Is it logo image or something else? Can I have a screencast video illustrating the issue, so that I can check at my end the exact thing?

Best Regards

Hello Vladimir,

Sorry for the delayed response.

You are trying to edit contents of an article details view from the frontend, right? It seems you are using different content editor there, maybe JCE! (There are language barrier between us as you can understand too, that makes it difficult to understand the video clearly)

However, with default editor there is no such option as yours. And I have tried to switch to blog options tab and upload featured image from the frontend and it works just fine at my end. Here is a screencast for your convenience:

Hi, Rashida! I'm use DropEditor and I trying to upload images not in blog options. I talking about button Media in the editor.

I tested this with template Cassiopea and it works fine. I think issue with your template. CAn I give you access in the hidden content and you will check?

Rashida, maybe you can't understand which issue I have with Helix Ultimate. Before on this website I used another template, because I updated from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4. Trying to explain this again:

  1. I have users that can login on website and add their articles. For article they must upload images:
  • intro image (with tab Images and Links or with Blog options)
  • image in Media manager directly to the article (button Media in editor).

My users can upload ONLY intro image now and ONLY via Blog options. Another Joomla core features doesn't work.

I tested it with default template Cassiopea - it works, tested it with different editors - it doesn't works.

Hope, you understand now that issue with Helix Ultimate. Help please fix it, it's very important.

Joomla 4.3.4 PHP 8.1 (but tested with PHP 8.2 - the same issue)

Hi Vladimir,

Sorry for the delay.

As I have given you the screencast before. I have shown you the default editor doesn't have the options as yours. You're using a different text editor there. However, I can upload images in the blog options tab.

I will forward your issue to the dev team. Please allow me time.

Best Regards

Hi Vladimir,

Developer has work load on easystore release, so it is taking time to have a look into the issue. Really sorry about that.

Have a nice day!

We have this issue too. Media manager for all content editors, JCE, TincMCE etc.. works fine when Home menu is set to Cassopeia. Media manager isn't creating folders or images when home set to Helix. Not permissions as working fine before.
