Cleanup After SP Page Builder Uninstallation

SP Page Builder 1 week ago

Hello everyone, I have two questions regarding SP Page Builder (Joomla): I recently uninstalled SP Page Builder from one Joomla site, but about 20 database tables were left behind. How can I safely remove them using phpMyAdmin? Also, if I choose to leave them in the database, could these leftover tables pose any security risks or be exploited through a potential vulnerability in the future?

On another website, I want to downgrade SP Page Builder from the Pro version to the Free version. What is the safest way to do this without losing my existing layout, content, or settings?Thank you in advance for your help!

HI Marin,

  1. Yes, you can. Database tables are not the risk itself, only php code.
  2. Free version don't have all features that PRO has, so it will be always "less". But layout (grid), and content should be there unless you don't manually removed addons from Pro version, otherwise they will disapear.

Imagine addons as modules, without them content is NOT displayed.
