Copy Paste Into Tabs

When working in tabs it is very difficult to copy-paste in between tabs. I have some tabs where the content accumulates; hence, I need to copy over the content from the previous tab to the next.
When copying columns and paste in, a new section with row/columns are pasted instead and the tab content goes blank with no option to insert an addon or paste content.
Is this a bug or can you tell me how to paste?

Accepted AnswerAnother observation: If you remove the Row in a tab there is no way to add in any content to that tab anymore. You are stucked. You can't even add a Row. The only option is to delete the tab and create a new one. Not smart.

Accepted AnswerThanks. For now, I created a custom module to handle this - mainly to avoid a huge amount of redundant content, which would be hard to maintain.
