WayneCorp 2.0.3 Not Working Without Joomla 5 Backward Compatibility – Joomla 6 Preparation

Template 1 week ago

I am preparing my Joomla 5.4 website for Joomla 6.

Setup:

Joomla 5.4 SP Page Builder 6.8.0 WayneCorp 2.0.3 (latest package) Backward Compatibility 6 enabled

The website originally used an older WayneCorp version. I have now installed the latest WayneCorp package and the old template version is no longer present.

With the Joomla 5 Backward Compatibility plugin enabled, everything works. As soon as I disable it, SP Page Builder fails with a Call Stack pointing to:

/templates/shaper_waynecorp/sppagebuilder/addons/articles_slider/admin.php:24!

Could you please provide an official Joomla 6 compatible fix/update for the WayneCorp SP Page Builder addons?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. You need to enable the Joomla 5 Backward Compatibility plugin.

Best regards,

Could you kindly grant me access to your Joomla administrator area so that I can investigate the issue you're experiencing? Prior to providing access, please ensure that you have backed up your site. Additionally, it's important to note that providing login credentials is entirely voluntary on your part; we respect your decision either way. However, if you do choose to share the login details, it would greatly expedite the resolution process. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi Toufiq, thanks a lot.

But can you tell me what you did, because I have another site with the same template and so I can resolve it myself.

Thanks!

Before update joomla 6, disable the Joomla 5 Backward Compatibility plugin.
