All Articles Broken Somehow After Update

SP Page Builder 4 days ago

Hello,

I am just realizing all pages/articles are broken somehow after updating to latest Joomla version. Not sure if maybe the pages were broken previously after JCE editor update possibly but all articles are not showing up correctly currently. Setup is Joomla Articles with Page Builder integrated into all articles. When clicking a page there is no data showing for pages/articles.

If I go and recreate the page outside of Joomla Articles and within the Page Builder dashboard those pages are showing correctly.

Hi Dezmond,

Thanks for the links. I checked both pages.

Your Bio and Services articles are being displayed through an SP Page Builder Article Detail page (the layout with category, date, author, Share and "You May Also Like"). The block under the title, where the article content should appear, is coming out empty.

We tested the same setup on our side with the latest versions (SP Page Builder 6.9.1 on Joomla 6.1.2). There, an article built with Page Builder shows its content correctly inside the Article Detail page. So please check these:

  1. Update SP Page Builder to the latest version, then clear the Joomla cache (System → Clear Cache) and reload the pages.
  2. Check one article: open Bio under Content → Articles and make sure SP Page Builder (not Joomla Editor) is selected at the top of the Content tab. Then click Edit with Backend Editor and confirm your layout is still there. Please don't save in Joomla Editor mode, because that can detach the layout.
  3. Check the Detail page: go to SP Page Builder → Pages, open your Article Detail page, and make sure the Dynamic Text addon below the title has its Field Source set to Full Text.

If it's still blank after that, please tell us your SP Page Builder and Joomla versions. Also add your admin login in the Hidden Content field so we can check it directly.

Best regards,
