Does SP page builder work with Sprout Videos?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out.

The Video addon in SP Page Builder only takes YouTube/Vimeo URLs, or an MP4 file under the MP4 source option. That's why you only see those choices. SproutVideo isn't supported as a URL source there.

You can still show your SproutVideo videos by pasting the embed code into a Raw HTML addon:

1. In SproutVideo, open your video, go to the Embed Code section and copy the iframe code.
2. In SP Page Builder, add a Raw HTML addon where you want the video.
3. Paste the embed code into the HTML Code field and save the page.

To make the player fill its column and resize on all screens, wrap the iframe like this. Replace the src with the one from your own SproutVideo embed code:

<div style="position:relative;padding-bottom:56.25%;height:0;">
  <iframe class="sproutvideo-player"
    src="https://videos.sproutvideo.com/embed/YOUR_VIDEO_ID/YOUR_SECURITY_TOKEN"
    style="position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;"
    frameborder="0" allowfullscreen
    referrerpolicy="no-referrer-when-downgrade" title="Video Player"></iframe>
</div>

Note: If your SproutVideo video has privacy or domain restrictions, make sure your website's domain is on the allowed list in SproutVideo. Otherwise the player won't load on your site.

If you have any trouble, please share the page URL and we'll take a look.

Best regards,
