What image dimensions should I use for the Educon II logo and slider?

Logo - for sure, a horizontal logo is recommended. It may be 300px or less. As for the height, you can change it in Template Options. Then it will look OK, not weirdly resized.

Slider - width 1920px , height 1080px or less.
