Problems Updating To Helix 2.0 - Custom Templates - SOLVED Temporarily

Helix Framework 4 years ago

I'm using the helix framework a lot for creating custom templates. After updating to helix 2 all templates went crazy and lost access to custom.css. The only solution that I found is to replace the template index.php file from the RC2 version: https://github.com/JoomShaper/helix-ultimate/releases/tag/v2.0.0-rc.2

If anyone has a better solution, write below.

Hello there,

What's the exact problem you are facing? Would you mind sharing some screenshots with us?

Thanks!

Hi Muntasir.

Problems appeared after updating the old 1.1.4 template to the latest shaper_ultimate template (update from Joomla backend)... (my changes to the original template were only in custom.css and main.js)

After updating the predefined headers are missing and custom.css isn't loaded. I've tried turning the compiler on and off, emptying the cache, etc... with no luck.

I managed to reinstall my custom template with overwriting files from the new 2.0 template, but .ini file needs to be added manually. After fixing all, the only problem I've experienced is having a problem with not loading custom.css.

When I replaced the index.php file from the rc2 version all is fixed and custom.css is loaded correctly...

Hope this helps...

Hello there,

Please go to templates > shaper_helixultimate > css and the create a folder named custom, not to mention the folder name has to be the same, and put all your css inside that folder.

In the latest update, we have changed it so that custom CSS can be well organized and won't get affected even after the next updates. I hope you can understand.

Thanks!

That doesn't work. Custom.css is caled from folder CSS and not CSS/CUSTOM in index.php file.

Hello there,

Please update to the latest Helix Ultimate which was released yesterday and try again.

If the issue persists, feel free to give us a buzz again.

Thanks!
