Problem With SP LMS Category Translation

Hello, I have this problem with Language School template [ https://www.joomshaper.com/joomla-templates/languageschool ]

When I create a SP LMS category for the English language, it shows up on the filters for all other languages and vice versa.

How could I have categories to show up only on their own languages??

Thank you

Hi Muntasir,

thanks for the reply.

Sure, here you are:

On the backend screenshot you can see that there are 2 categories marked out. One is in "English" language and the other one is in "Greek". https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TlCWgIdEQQcg5VLmovYuEp6w89p01wyQ/view?usp=sharing

On the frontend screenshot and particularly in the filter dropdown, even if the site language is in Greek at the moment, you are able to see both course categories, when you should be able to see only one of them. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jGsetUmVtVZcim3xkF-fwm7JSM_m112O/view?usp=sharing

Yes, because I had to unpublish these categories!

Please try again now, and come back to me.

Hello Nikos,

Yes, I have thoroughly gone through the courses and course categories.

I have found that, the problem occured from your end. See the screenshot. You created the catergory English only for English language though, you have created Greek courses under this category for which in the category list it is always shown, no matter which language you choose.

I hope you got the flaw now.

Thanks!

Hi Muntasir,

so, if I understand this correctly:

  • create English and Greek category.
  • create only Greek or only English courses and not 'All'

I changed all courses accordingly. They are only English with 'ENGLISH' category and only Greek with 'ΑΓΓΛΙΚΑ' category.

But this is still there.

Am I missing something?

Hello there,

In the drop-down list, it always shows all the category by default, this is called from the xml file which is our default feature.

If you want to change it, you need to customize it yourself. I am sorry to say but we don't provide customization support.

Thanks!

So, this is not a problem on my end as you mentioned above. Correct?

Hello there,

No, not at all. This is neither your problem nor ours.

Our dev-team developed it in that way.

Thanks!
