SP Page Builder 4 years ago

Hi,

After updating SP Page Builder and Helix Framework (using Dylan template), my custom.css file is not loaded anymore.

Any idea how I can fix it?

Thanks

Sandra

I added it in the template style so that it can work, but it's annoying :(

It's not only about that. Even with custom.css loaded, many styles have suddenly changed, meaning I have to check everything and add many lines of css which were not needed before the update.

Hi Sandra,

Are you using custom style option within the Preset tab of your template options, please? Or you are using an preset there?

You may check by toggling css and js compression in template settings. https://prnt.sc/168slcy

Compile SCSS to CSS setting too: https://prnt.sc/168spwr

If you are not using the custom style, then please turn it off.

Clear your Joomla and browser cache.

Let me know if it solves your issue or not.

Best regards

Hi,

Yes, I'm using custom present. I already tried toggling compression. It didn't change anything.

Note also that for the heading addon, text-color doesn't work anymore. If you want a specific color for your heading, you need now to add a custom CSS instead of using Text color which doesn't have anymore effect.

So the only solution to solve all these issues on all websites I unfortunately updated is to waste time (not paid of course) to put things like they were before the update :(

Yes, I presume it's Helix update that kills things. Hacing to re-add the custom.css file is one thing, but this update does far more harm.

After

Do you have a way to revert the update so that I can go back to the previous version?

For now you can install the previous one. But I hope these css issues will fixed on the next update

This is the previous version. If you want this you can install it. This is Helix ultimate quickstart v1.1,2

-Note: Please make sure you have backup then you can change

As Sandra97, I had the same custom design issues. I was lucky then I had a full server snapshot. Now , I went back to yesterday. The problem is Helix I guess.

yeah I also forgot to mention that headers (font color) on my site didn't work. even if added under css in helix settings. at least on my side i used the backup from my host which is automated to avoid fiddling further. Looking forward for the update!

Hello,

Helix Ultimate 2.0.2 has released!

Would you please try this and let us know?

Taking a full site backup is always recommended.

Best Regards

Hi,

So the issue is still there on all my sites after Helix update. Hours of work on each. Finally, I think I understand the reason

Reason is: now custom.css is placed before template.css, which is incorrect. So all custom CSS can't be applied, as now template.css has the priority. Could you please re-order them? custom.css after template.css?

Thanks

Hi Sandra!

Sorry for your experience.

The issue should be resolved in the new version of Helix Ultimate as per my knowledge.

Which version you are using currently, please?

And which one is not working? There are some changes in classes and some additional flex may causes the issue for you I guess.

Best Regards
