SP LMS Edit Own

Hey! I have an issue that I want to let a user edit his/her own teacher profile, but not touch anyone else. If I do not allow him edit, but I allow him edit own, he cant edit his own. If I allow him to edit, he can edit everybody else. It's like edit overwrites edit own. How do I fix this problem? (My final goal is to let teachers register on the front end, navigate them to the back end, and let them add themself as teachers, without allowing them to ruin anything else, or other teacher's profile)

Sorry, but I don't see this helping me. I have already seen these, but these ones don't have to do anything about my question. Again, my problem is that I can't set teachers edit their OWN profils ONLY.

Hi, Teachers cannot do that on their own unless they are given access through ACL. In that way, it will be possible. SP LMS lets you assign a particular set of access control for a specific user group. You can check out the blog and documentation below kindly, i hope it will help you this time: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/complete-guide-to-joomla-role-based-user-access

Seems like your edit own is completely missing from a few parts and files. Like from here: /administrator/components/com_splms/controllers/teacher.php Also something with the +New button (it returns with this: Error You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page(#0)

Hello

Thank you for your patience and my sincere apologies for the delay. There is no default settings for controlling teachers and managing their courses on their own. You can do that through ACL only. However, we will consider this for future, keeping it in mind and will talk to our Developer Team about it.
