I'm a little amazed because in the older versions of Helix with Joomla 3 it is simple: just using the layout-option of the used helix-template and you can place a slider above the menu when using custom options (not a preset)....

This seems however not to work anymore in the latest versions of helix and joomla, pitty...

If this really is against your support policy I suggest to update the latest helix_ultimate to make this possible again!
