Pitech Teplate Search Box In Phone/tablet Offcanvas Box does Not Work

Hello, Am deciding on using Pitech and noticed that the offcanvas searchbox in the main menu returns "no results found", no matter the query.
The problem has nothing to do with my specific site (also is problem in your site pitechtemplate demo/preview).
(also seems to be a problem in your helix template for Joomla 4 , BTW)
Please advise on how to fix. Thanks,

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience. The off-canvas menu search used smart search. You need to index your item from smart search component area. I have done for you, Please check & let me know.
