Font Awesome Issue On Menu Item

Hi, i'm using helix ultimate on a Joomla4 setup and i want to use home icon for home page link in menu. I added "fas fa-home" in the link css style for the menu item and in helix i activated font awesome. It works fine on moblie but on desktop it only shows a square instead of the home icon. I don't understand why. please help
