SP Page Builder Updates

SP Page Builder 4 years ago

Hi I just logged in to the backend editor and saw that I had 2 SP Pagebuilder updates. One was image carousel and the other I'm not sure about. I updated without taking too much notice as I assumed these would be working (lesson learned)

It's hosed all my image galleries and carosels on the site and I cannot edit them. Can someone please tell me whats going on?

Edit: It appears to have hosed some of my text boxes as well in being able to amend them.

Cheers, Ruth

Hello Ruth Donnelly

Please explain in more details. Which things are lost after the update? Before the update, what was your SP Page Builder version? Are you using templates from us?

Best regards

Hi Ofi

I'm sorry,I should have given more details. I have the latest page builder version as I only just purchased it a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I am using your templates.

I wished I had taken more notice of the updates before I installed them, but I naturally thought they are updates that need to be installed. I will be more careful in the future.

There were 2 extension updates - one was for the image carousel or gallery - and I'm not sure what the other was or if it was connected in some way.

If you can tell me what are the latest updates, you will know what they are. They have been the only SP page builder updates since I installed it a few weeks ago.

Is there somewhere I can reverse the update?

Yes, you can reverse the update. You just need to install the older versions. Do you need any older versions? I can provide you with that.

Tip: Always take a backup before update and check the changelog. We clearly mention the changes there.

No, I don't have the older versions. I know, I should have backed up - it was a dumb thing to do, but I won't be making that mistake again.

I was looking for the changelog, but I couldn't find it.

If you could give me the older verisons I would be so pleased!

Hi Ofi

Where can I find the older versions to reinstall and where do I find the changelogs?

FYI - I just tried to reinstall the latest SP Pagebuilder Pro again and I got the same message and I got when I first did the updates

The message was: net/http: timeout awaiting response headers

This is what happened when I did the first update and I hit the back button and that's when I found all the problems.

I'm not sure if this is a joomla or a pagebuilder problem.

Glad to know that the issue is solved. You will find the changelog in this page: https://www.joomshaper.com/downloads/extension

It is recommended to check it before you update so that you know the changes.
