How Can I Solve This

NH

Nigel Hancock

SP Page Builder 4 years ago

I am using the Helix Ultimate template and I have a problem, on all my pages I have a module(Slideshow) at the top www.ticmic.com of each page, the problem occurs for me when I add my blog (EasyBlog) because the layout I need is only available directly from an Easyblog menu rather than a module.

Is there anyway of being able to get around this problem>

Thanks

Hi Nigel,

You can use our slideshow addon also inside SP Page Builder module. And Helix Ultimate has module position "content-top" which is above the component area. So should work.

But the main question is: does it make sense to use slideshow on all subpages. Think as great seller - what is your goal on, for example, membership page - display somebody 2-3 slides OR "force" him to fill the order form? I think on some subpages you should use a single image and smaller header and focus on the business purposes, not on distractors.

Also on Blog subpage - you don't need whole bottom section, people go there to read blog post, probably only 5% will ever scroll down to see sponsors slider.

I have reduced the padding but there is still a gap between the menu bar and the module, I need to make it look the same as all the others, can you advise please
