Third Party Templates - Basic Question

Just returning to Joomla after nearly 9 years since my company switched to Wordpress to build client websites, so sorry for the basic question but
I have seen some third party templates on ThemeForest(Envato) that come with the helix ultimate framework. What I would like to know is is it possible to use third party template from another company and my helix ultimate framework pro. For example I find a really good looking Joomla template and want to use it on a website but it doesn't come with the framework. If I have the framework can I use it, or is it a matter of one OR the other?

Accepted AnswerYes, from a technical point of view, Helix Ultimate 2.0 is a full-fledged Joomla Template. That can be used on Joomla 3.10 or/and Joomla 4.x.
And as Pavel said, you can assign him to selected subpages (menu items) only - Joomla allows that, have settings.
SP Page Builder is component - so it may be used, but you doesn't have to.

Actually Helix Ultimate Template Framework is absolutely free. It can be used as a framework or as a Template or both. As it is a free one and is really powerful for Joomla platform, you can try it with your other Joomla templates as well.

Helix Ultimate for many developers is treated as base framework for their templates. Some develpers add big changes in code, some others only rename template. But as Rashida said, you can use raw Helix Ultimate template for free, without paying, just download from us. We don't have Helix Pro - only free version so far.
Using "raw" version of Helix Ultimate gives you the advantage that you will receive updates immediately after we publish them.

Accepted AnswerThanks everyone. I still need to know if the framework works with a regular old template, like one that doesn't say it comes with any framework (except the Joomla one) or page builder. I think I can use SP Page Builder, but not Helix.

Hi.
Helix Ultimate is a template. It can not work inside the other (old, new - no matter) template or connect to it. Any template can be used by itself, but not inside another template.
You can assign different templates for different pages.
The only exception is that on one site cannot be installed at the same time Helix 3 and Helix Ultimate based templates because of the conflict of their plugins
