Remove Hashes In URL For Smooth Scroll?

I have a late-beta staging site getting close to production. The one page menu I've built adds a hash to the URL - is there a way to prevent this? It never goes away. (Link in the hidden section.)

Accepted AnswerHi. It works so. You cannot prevent it if you use anchor links.
If you want to get rid of # you need to write your own menu on JavaScript or jQuery that will track the number of pixels to the item and scroll to it on click, without using anchor links.
