EasyStore v1.0.9: Brings Redsys, Moneris, Payfast Payment Gateways, and More

It's once again the time for Joomla enthusiasts to buckle up! Because we are back with another exciting update on your one-stop eCommerce solution - EasyStore. Get ready to dive into a realm of some exciting additions and bug fixes that come bundled with this latest release. 

So, without any further ado, let's go through the changes and find out more!

Users currently using EasyStore version 1.0.2 or lower must update to v1.0.8 before updating to v1.0.9 for an error-free upgrade experience.

Redsys Payment Gateway

Say hello to one of our newest EasyStore payment solution family members - the Redsys payment gateway! With Redsys, ensure a secure payment experience for your customers not just in Spain but across various European countries!

Moneris Payment Gateway

Joining forces with Redsys, the Moneris payment gateway is now part of this update and is ready to serve you. Moneris payment gateway is the most entrusted payment solution employed by Canadian e-commerce businesses. Its simplicity and ease of application make it a popular choice across Canada.

Payfast Payment Gateway

Payfast has also joined the EasyStore payment solution family with today’s update. With Payfast onboard, you can now offer your customers a secure and convenient payment experience in South Africa.

Updated EasyStore’s Payments Settings

We've revamped the Payments Settings to streamline your payment processing experience, ensuring smoother transactions for you and your customers. 

The interface has been revamped, now allowing you to add, remove, and configure your preferred payment methods right within the settings.

For our existing EasyStore users who have previously configured payment methods, simply navigate to the Payments Settings and select "Update Now" beside your configured payment method to ensure consistency.

Miscellaneous Updates & Fixes

• Enhanced Admin Notifications: Admins can now receive order summaries, providing greater transparency and control over your store's operations.
• Customer Notes During Checkout: Customers can now add notes during the checkout process, on order details, and invoices, facilitating clearer communication and smoother transactions.
• Improved Payment Status Language: We've added a new Payment Status Language string to enhance clarity and consistency in your store's communication.

Apart from the improvements, we have also addressed the issue of product deletion when it already existed in an order, fixed the Email Template order summary missing tag, and more.
