Italian Translation

Asked by Raffaele Gori Aceto 2 years ago Last activity 2 years ago

I need to update easystore in Italian, is there an already translated com_easystore.ini file or do I have to manually correct all the code?

The easystore control panel does not allow me to change the language, I cannot select any entry!

Ciao Raffaele,

Go here : EasyStore > Settings > Languages > Italian > "Install" button

administrator/index.php?option=com_easystore&view=settings#/languages

Here are files (download):

easystore_admin_it.zip

easystore_front_it.zip

Now you can compare them with English version (using Text Editor), add missing phrases, translate and replace manually. You can share later with Us as well to help Italian community :)

Hi Paul
thanks for sending the necessary files, but in the path EasyStore > Settings > Languages > Italian > "Install" button. I can't install because the page is blank and there is no button, is there another way to install the language?

is there another way to install the language?

Of course, use that same manual & universal method as was used since Joomla 1.0:

  1. Download two zip files
  2. Unzip it.
  3. Using FTP tool upload files - keep this same folder structure
  4. That's all. 90 sec task.

Of course, the Italian language for Joomla itself must be installed & enabled first.

  1. Scaricare i file zip
  2. Decomprimere.
  3. Utilizzando uno strumento FTP, caricare i file, mantenendo la stessa struttura di cartelle.
  4. Tutto qui. Un compito di 90 secondi.

Naturalmente, la lingua italiana per Joomla stesso deve essere installata e abilitata prima di questo processo.

thank you very much, I managed to translate the site, obviously some words are wrong but I will calmly correct them manually

We are not native speakers... ;)

You can later share corrected files. Thx
