Hello,
I am using the Nectar template that has issues in my opinion. I log in today to add some custom css and this is what I encounter. https://ibb.co/35P2zF0F. Regardless of browser I face the same issue where the input boxes are underneath. I have not made any changes to the framework
your help is appreciated
thanks
Hi Paul,
Noted what you are saying. I alerady removed the code from the custom.css file I did not make any changes to the site and still had an issue. I had to recover in another way becasue the template menu system itself also vanished. have another question outgoing for that.
thanks
Hi,
Probably used by you Custom CSS has mistake in syntax that damaged whole rest. Probably you forgot to add "}" or different small mistake. This is one of the main reasons. If nobody touched template core files.
Always check your Custom CSS using CSS Validator (Online or from Software). We all make mistakes and that tool help us find them.
To fix it, Select & Cut whole custom CSS from Custom CSS Area, Save settings and paste to Notepad, and check again Template Options. Then if all will be OK, check your CSS syntax (!).
Using custom.css file is better - read Helix Guide for details.
Recovering site from backup could a good option, if two days ago was OK etc.
Hosting Provider has backups , and keep it for 7, 10 or 14 days.
