Merge Nectar template (Joomla 5 + Helix 2.2.1) to Helix template (Joomla 6 + Helix Basic Template 2.2.1)

Asked by Michel 11 months ago Last activity 11 months ago

Hi!
I don't know if and when the Nectar template will be full compatible with Joomla 6.
What should I do to merge this Nectar template look and feel I have on one site to a second site that is full Joomla 6 + Helix Ultimage Basic Template (2.2.1) ?
Is it possible to only import the Nectar template settings to the Helix Ultimate template to get it working like the other one ?
If it is possible, what files should be imported from the Joomla 5 site to make it working like the Nectar template ?

Thanks!
Michel

Hello Michel,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Unfortunately, converting or merging a template design from one framework to another isn't a straightforward process. It typically requires advanced frontend development skills and a solid understanding of the Joomla framework.

My suggestion would be to wait for a Joomla 6 compatible update for the Nectar template. Since Joomla 6 is relatively new, it's generally best to avoid rushing the upgrade until all template and extension updates have reached a stable state.

Best regards
