Blog Layout Issue In Joomla 5 – Nectar Template

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with the blog display on my website (Joomla 5, Nectar template, SP Page Builder).

On the blog overview page (https://nasadovky.cz/blog), articles are now displayed in two columns. Until yesterday, when I had only three blog posts, they were displayed correctly in three columns. I haven’t changed any settings.

In the recommended articles module below a blog post (for example here: https://nasadovky.cz/blog/spoustim-blog-o-chovu-slepic), only 1–2 articles are displayed instead of all remaining ones from the same category.

I did not change any display configuration – everything is still as it was after installing the demo data. The only thing that has changed since then are the updates of Joomla / SP Page Builder / the template.

My questions:

Could the recent updates have changed the way the template or blog module renders the content?

Where exactly can I configure it so that the blog articles remain displayed in three columns and the recommended articles module shows all other articles in the category?

Thank you for your help. Martin

I have set Blog menu item Multi Column Direction to Across. It seems that Blog menu issue is fixed.

Yes, I have talked with the developer team. They have suggested to use tags. Same category and same tags articles will be shown in related articles. Then I have added blog tag on your articles. Now 3 related articles are shown on each article page.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I will provide the administrator access in the Hidden Content box as requested (I have already made a full backup).

Let me clarify the issues a bit more:

Blog columns issue

  • When I had only 3 blog articles, the blog overview page displayed them correctly in 3 columns.
  • After I added the 4th article yesterday, the layout suddenly changed and now all articles are displayed in 2 columns instead of 3.
  • You can see it here: https://nasadovky.cz/blog

Recommended articles under a blog post

  • I expected that the module would show the 3 other articles from the same category below each article. For example, if there are 4 articles in total, then when I open one of them, I should see the remaining 3 below.
  • But this doesn’t happen. Sometimes it shows only 1, sometimes 2, but never all 3.
  • Example: https://nasadovky.cz/blog/fermentace-krmiva-pro-drubez-kompletni-pruvodce

Hopefully, this helps clarify the problem before you log in and check.

Best regards, Marvays
